| Craig H. Bowlsby lives in Vancouver and has spent fifteen years compiling this book’s photographs and another five years researching and writing its fascinating story. Bowlsby has appeared on Hockey Day in Canada as an expert historian, and has been interviewed on CBC Radio’s BC Almanac, Rock 101, and Mountain Radio. He is an avid collector of antiquarian books. Rare hockey books from his collection inspired a previous volume, Ice Age Memoirs: A Compendium and Bibliography of Hockey Publications. |
| An expert fencer, Bowlsby has won the Western Canadian Foil Championships five times and has appeared as a fencer in film, doubling for actors in such TV shows as The Highlander and Smallville. He is also an independent filmmaker and has produced a comedy science-fiction TV show called Commander’s Log, which aired on the Space Channel as a pilot. Six episodes have been produced. |
